These are the channels selling products with an aggressive pitch centered on cheap and quality products. Over the years these channels have evolved in putting up better content and selling better products but there is still a sea of useless products being pushed down the throats of gullible customers. I remember seeing these long infomercials for the first time on TV around 20 years back. It was the time when I was in school and seeing these ads I believed whatever they presented on TV. I vividly remember the most popular infomercial/commercial of a product named “Roop Amrit” - Roop ka Amrit, literally translated as a Nector for Beauty. What's wrong with Delhi's restaurants

Yesterday, I ordered a Shawarma from Arabian Bites(4.2 ratings on Zomato) restaurant in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. It was disappointing. Even greater a disappointment than the food at Diggin Café at C.P. on Sunday. It is a pity that even the popular cafes and restaurants can not satiate your taste buds the way they claim.  The shawarma was bland. The wrap seemed stale and too thick. It appeared as if you are eating the Maida flour directly. Though the chicken was in good quantity, it did not help its taste. The same fate was met on Sunday while eating at the Diggin Café at C.P. The place is hyped for its tasty food and ambiance. The ambiance was good but the food was below average. We ordered a Vegetarian Pizza and a Lamb burger along with a fresh lime soda with added sugar and salt. The fresh lime soda came before the food. We had to get the drink replaced as it was laced with salt to the point of saturation. I could sip the salt through my straw. The waiter changed it on request a...
